Tangent Drive 2207 - Beetleweight drive motor
Tangent Drive 2207 - Beetleweight drive motor
Have you wanted to build a tangent drive robot? Normal drone motors make structure challenging because the shafts come out the side opposite the mount. Now with repeat tangent drive motors, the shaft comes out the side where the mounting is, making tangent drive easier than ever before! Pair with repeat drive axles to take all the complexity out of your super speed drivetrain! Use our Repeat AM32 dual brushless drive esc to get rid of the jitters and make your robot drive smoother than ever before!
Features:
- UPDATE (7/7/25) - 1200kv
- UPDATE (3/3/25) - Shaft is now 10mm longer
- UPDATE (3/3/25) - Motor construction is changed to prevent the motor can from coming off
- 2-6S voltage
- Comes with 7mm diameter knurled tangent drive shaft
- Suggested 0.8mm to 1.2mm interference (depending on wheel design)
- Weight
- 36.1g with full length wires
- 34.1g with shortened wires

Make sure to test out the chosen interference amount with your specific chassis and wheel designs. Too little interference and the shaft slips on the wheels before they slip on the ground. Too much and you'll just be loading your motors too much causing them to burn out eventually
